I’m a Computer Science undergrad—which basically means I’ve willingly signed up to wrestle with machines that do exactly what I tell them to… and still find a way to break. For those who still think a CSE undergrad just “fixes Wi-Fi” or “installs apps,” let me clarify. These brave souls dedicate their existence to deciphering the sacred texts of computer science. Their focus? Either Data Structures & Algorithms (aka coding yoga for your brain) or Data Science (which is basically convincing Excel to evolve into a crystal ball). They obsess over data—collecting it, cleaning it, yelling at it—and then pretend to understand it deeply enough to teach machines how to think. Why? To push the boundaries of human knowledge, sure. But mostly, to survive coding interviews designed by people who clearly hate joy.
